My nans families origins in the 1700-1900s are shown back in Rickmansworth , Chorleywood , Aldbury ,Watford areas.

The WRENCH family had connections to families within these areas

SOUTHAM (1765) ,
DAVIDSON (1737)

I have WRENCH family going back to 1717 with William Wrench who married Anne Davidson in 1737 in Rickmansworth.

They had atleast two children Mary Wrench and Joseph Wrench.

Their daughter Mary Wrench married William Southam 1765 in Rickmansworth.
Their son Joseph Wrench married Mary Day 1776 in Rickmansworth.

Joseph and Mary Wrench nee Day had a son James Wrench 1788.

James Wrench married Sarah Lacy 1810 Rickmansworth.

James and Sarah Wrench nee Lacy had a son William Wrench 1814

William Wrench married Alathea Davis 1939 in Rickmansworth.

William and Alathea Wrench nee Davis had a son George Wrench 1844 .

George is my Grt x 3 Grandfather.

Alatheas parents are listed as William and Peggy Davis on other documents her mother is shown as Mary. Alathea is also spelt in several ways on different documents and census forms as Eleanor,Elithar , Alithia.
