09/06/2008, 10:40 PM withie Joined on 09/06/2008 Posts 1 Owen Family My husband's mum was born as far as we know in March, Cambs. but brought up in Pondersbridge.  Her mum was Jesse Owen, her father's first name not sure, only called him Grandad Owen. Her name was Joan Mary Owen. (Mary)  She had sisters called Mabel and Win Taylor late of Whittlesey, brothers Bill, Ackie? (only name we knew him as), George and Fred, there may be more.  She met my husbands father at Upwood whilst he was stationed there and they got married and lived in Bridlington Yorks.  He was Eric Fletcher.  My husband was  wondering if there were any Owens around this area i.e. March, Whittlesey or anywhere around there etc who are related or have any info regarding relatives or stories  Thanks so much for your help.  Withie.    Report
