Tomer
When i first arrived in the UK i found myself a dropzone to continue my skydiving. Here i met Jez, a bloke who came across as a very happy in life and doing well whatever his work may be. This man and myself found a similar interest in not only jumping but Motorbikes, every evening we would have a talk about bikes and the conversation would always trail off to his son Tomer and how well he is doing in Motorcross and the passions his 2 children had. From what i got out of any time ever spent around Jez was that his son Tomer was going to be a star, the best in his field of sport. Tomer came across as boy who was a born champion and for me at the age of 28 i was actually jelous of the life his parents were guiding him through and skills and ability Tomer had to go through life with. Yesterday I saw his proud Father for the first time in a long time wearing a T-shirt with a pic of a kid on a dirt bike going over a jump, i thought, oh my god, now he has his son on his T-shirt, This father is very proud, It was not until later i realised it was a memorial T-shirt. I asked Jez who the kid was thinking it must have been one of Tomer or Frankie's friends.
When Jez told me it was his son, i can not explain how hard i felt life punch me in the stomach. I don't think i had cried for anyone that has died who i did not know until this day.
I was lucky enough after hearing all these story's about Tomer to finally meet him one day after he had been out racing and this kid was one happy, polite kid who seemed to talk to adults at ease and you could see in his energy that his future was not only going to be very bright but i instantly thought he would one day become the best in the world at the sport he had chosen. (maybe i felt that with all his father had said :))
I have never met a Father as proud of his children as this man Jez is and I hope he can keep his chin up and get through this. You are a good man Jez, I am sure Tomer loved having you as a dad as his life was just getting started and with your life as an example for your sons to follow, not only was he getting the best out of life but his road ahead looked like a very enjoyable one. You are the proudest Father i have ever met and my heart goes out to you.
