Fixtures Announced

So we have Wrexham away first, and Mansfield on the last game of the season. Here is a link to the full list of fixtures: http://www.thecomet.net/content/comet/boro/default.aspx

Fixtures

Fixtures are to be announced today at 11. Hopefully we get a good even spread of teams home and away this season. Rather than 5 home games followed buy 3 away games. It would also be nice not to have a really difficult month like we did in October last

New addition

Looks like my squad round-up is already out of date. Wayne O'Sullivan has moved to conference south side, Braintree and we have signed Luke Cole who impressed Westley in a trial. Luke Cole is a young midfield player, who was part of Exeter City’s

The 2008/09 Squad Round-Up

Ok, so we have a lot of changes since the beginning of last season. Stimmo left, took a load of players with him, Taylor came in, brought some very mediocre players in, and then failed to make the playoffs. Graham Westley then returned, and has made a

New Kit unveiled

We now have a picture of the new Boro kit to show to you all. I think it looks really good. A lot more modern compared to the other kits. Although it doesn't show as many stripes that we are used to.... Check it out here: http://www.thecomet.net/content/comet/boro/default.aspx

Boro Kit

The new Boro kit will be on sale on Thursday of this week for those who are interested. I think I may get this year's shirt. I did like the Wembley shirt, and this reminds me of it a bit. I wasn't too keen on last years because if you didn't get a name

Moro Stays - Excellent News

The club has revealed that after talks today with Morison, he is set to stay with the club for next season at least. He has signed a 3 year deal with a get out clause, that says if we don't go up next season, he can go for an agreed fee. This is excellent

Things look promising

I have to admit I was a bit sceptical when it came to PW bringing back Westley. I thought it was a step backwards. I did however, say to myself, I will see what signings he brings in, and judge him on the promise of those players and the results next

Transfers: Players In

Boro have been very busy with transfers in the last couple of weeks. Here is the list of players that Westley has brought into the club: Ashley Bayes. Ashley is a goalkeeper from Crawley Town. He is expected to replace Alan Julian who is set to move

Transfers: Players Out

There have been a lot of changes this week with regards to transfers. Steve Morison has requested a transfer. Personally I don't blame him. He has been brilliant for the club and deserves to play in the league. I think if he does go it will be to a league

Thoughts on Westley

I have had time to gather my thoughts on Westley returning to Boro. At first I was completely shocked. I would have never thought that he would return to Broadhall Way. If it was mentioned it was in a jokey way, as if it was never to happen. I couldn't

Westley appointed as manager

Graham Westley has been appointed as manager alongside John Dreyer on a one year contract. I can't quite believe it. I'm speechless.

Is Westley coming back?

Word on the street is that Graham Westley may be coming back to Boro. Last night at the fans forum, apparently Phil Wallace said that he was considering re-appointing Westley as manager as he has "changed". I can't for certain say that this happened

So what now?

What now for Boro? We are expected to have a new manager by the end of next week but where does that leave us? Will it be a manger from the conference, a manager from the leagues? There are so many options now open for Boro. Players may leave and players

It's official: Taylor's leaving us

As many of you probably already know Peter Taylor is leaving us this week after having a meeting with PW this morning. I think his departure is by mutual consent, although it does not state this on the website, nor does it state that he resigned or
