It has been bought to our attention that scammers have been using the posts on our notice board to contact pet owners with the false hope that their pet has been found in Nigeria. If you receive an email of this content, please ignore the email. Do not reply to the sender and definitely do not send them any money. This is nothing but a cruel scam.

Koochie has been Found!
Our beautiful pet canary - Koochie - has been found!
A couple of weeks ago I was amazed to find her safe and well in Notcutts Garden Centre pet department. Apparently she had flown into a kind local lady's garden and this lady looked after her before taking her to Notcutt's. The Notcutt's pet department staff also looked after her but it was lucky I popped in on the day I did as otherwise she might have been passed on to someone else to look after her. We would all like to say a big thank you to the kind lady who found Koochie, and also the kind, hard-working staff at Notcutt's for helping look after Kooch aswell.

Puss has now come home after being missing for just over a week, he found his way back.

We have no idea where he had been but suspect he was trapped as he was clean but skinny!
He returned on Friday the 11th August, 2 weeks from when he went.

Alf turned up unharmed at a neighbouring farm - he had a rope tied around his neck and had obviously been feed as he was slightly fatter than when he vanished.
His owner is getting him microchipped immediately!

We are happy to report that Disco has been found. She had fallen down a hole and had to be rescued by the Fire Brigade last night. Apparently the firemen were fantastic with her.

We are delighted to let you know that Max, our all-black Persian cross gorgeous cat (aged 11 years) missing from Berkhamsted since 14th March 2006 is now safely home (27th April 2006).

Since he appeared in this week's Welwyn and Hatfield Times a reader recognised him and emailed Pethunters to say where they had see him. His owner then went round and found him.

Leo had been stolen then dumped due to his health and age! He ended up in Battersea Dogs Home.

George the Staffordshire Bull Terrier was taken from a van at Marks and Spencers carpark on February 14, 2006.
George was reunited with his owners when he was returned to them on February 27.

Fizz has been found safe and well - thank you for all your wonderful support it is very much appreciated.

Biffy the black 19 year old cat who went missing from handside Lane has been reunited with his family.
He was taken away by the RSPCA and eventually tracked down at a vets in Hitchin.
Other owners be warned though. If your cat is taken by the RSPCA it takes many hours and phone calls to find out which inspector has taken them & where they have gone.
All's well that ends well.

Loki was Micro chipped.
