A NEW 150-seater restaurant will open this month offering authentic flavours from the USA.
Coast to Coast opens on October 19 on the Stevenage Leisure Park in the former Aroma restaurant and will specialise in all-American favourites.
The restaurant will also create 40 new jobs in the area, a mixture of full- and part-time positions.
Coast to Coast is a brand new restaurant concept, tipped as one of the most exciting new restaurant brands in the UK.
Already a hit in Brighton, the format is now being rolled out across the country with Stevenage being the latest addition.
Diners will experience a gastronomic adventure from east to west coast America, with Chicago-style pizzas, all-American burgers, seafood dishes and sizzling fajitas.
In addition to the food, cocktails, mocktails and beers will be served inspired by the continent.
Authentic décor completes the experience with sumptuous leather banquettes trimmed in red and maps of the Lincoln Highway and US memorabilia on the walls.
Matthew Chambers, general manager at Stevenage Leisure Park, said; “We are excited about the work taking place in the unit ready for the opening of Coast to Coast in October.
“The authentic American restaurant will be a welcome addition to the park and will offer park visitors a tasty new menu to discover.”
Restaurant manager Paul Breslin said: “We are really thrilled about introducing Coast to Coast to the visitors of Stevenage Leisure Park, who we’re confident will love the authentic American dining experience on offer.
“With a delicious menu, relaxed vibe and 150 covers inside we expect to be busy all year round. I hope local residents will come along and check it out for themselves.”

Whoops made a mistake ........ the £20 a head was just for burgers .............. if you want chicken, steak, grills it's £13 - £23 per head just for the one course !!!

Price is ok as long as the food is good and better atmosphere unlike the cantine style all the others on the park have. The capacity tells me otherwise. What I really want to know is what happened to Aroma?!

Really expensive £20 a head for 2 courses with no drinks, maybe ok for a special night out look at the one in Brighton for the menu prices :(

Mmmmm bit pricey if the Brighton one is anything to go by. Lunch menu not too bad 2 courses for £10 without drinks but Evening Menu approx £20 head for 2 courses - maybe ok for special event, but lots of cheaper and very good restaurants around.
