How do I enter my website?

Simply follow the link on the navigation bar above, to the How to Enter page. Select the category which best fits your website and fill in the entry form on the subsequent page.

Which category should I enter?

There are a wide variety of categories for you to choose from, so there is bound to be one that will fit your site.

Most are self explanitary but a few examples are: If your site is to sell or promote a business or products you should choose the Commercial category. Town or village websites are best suited to the public information category and charities and clubs, the community category. The Hobby category is best suited to people who run fan sites, gaming sites, or who to those who display their photography or other collections online.

How much does it cost to enter?

All categories are free to enter

What is the deadline for entries?

Entries can be submitted until 10a.m. on February 23rd 2007.

When will voting open?

Votes will be collected from February 23rd, 2007 at 4pm.

How do I collect votes?

Once your entry has been reviewed, you will be sent a voting button and link to place on your website.

When your website visitors click your voting button they will be taken to the Web Awards website to confirm their vote.

Voters details will be taken to avoid duplicate voting.

Votes can also be collected from the web awards site as all websites will be listed for visitors to judge and vote for when they enter our prize draw.

When does voting close?

Voting will close at midday on March 16, 2007.

When will the shortlisted entries be judged?

The winners of the Web Awards will be decided on March 23rd, 2007 by a panel of judges.

When will the overall winners be announced?

The Herts24 Web Awards in association with Beechwood Homes will take place on March 30th 2007.

The awards ceremony will be held online at www.hearts24.co.uk/webawards presented by our virtual host, Miranda Fox.

How can I nominate someone else's site?

If you are not the owner of a website but know of one which you think should enter the awards you can nominate them using the nomination form. Your nomination can be made anonymously if you wish. We will then contact the website owner directly notifying them of their nomination and requesting that they enter their site for the suggested award.
