Rules and Information
- All entries must be submitted to Archant Herts and Cambs by 10am on February 23, 2007.
- The websites which have received the most votes from our online users will be shortlisted. Voting for the websites will begin on February 23, 2007 at 4pm and will end at midday on March 16, 2007. There will be five websites shortlisted in each category which will then be considered by the judges.
- Any organisation or individual who lives, works or goes to school within the Herts24 footprint is eligible to enter the awards. Because the distribution of our newspapers overlaps county boundaries, we will accept entries from people living in Biggleswade, Potton and Sandy as well as Harlow and the surrounding villages.
- Under no circumstances will websites which feature adult content be considered for inclusion within the Herts24 Web Awards.
- Entering more than one category is allowed, but each entry must be submitted on separate entry forms.
- The Judges, organisers and sponsors cannot accept responsibility for the validity of claims made by entrants.
- All categories will be judged by a minimum of four judges. The judges will consider each nomination in the context of the chosen category.
- If appropriate the judges may decide to submit your nomination in an additional category.
- The judges are completely independent of Archant Herts & Cambs.
- Winners will be announced in a virtual awards ceremony which will be hosted live on www.herts24.co.uk/webawards on March 30th, 2007 at 12 noon. No results will be announced before this date. The winners will also be revealed in our newspaper titles the week after being announced online.
- Award winners may state in advertising / promotional activities that they are winners, but must include the category and the year in which the award was won.
- Entry into the Herts24 Web Awards in association with Beechwood Homes implies acceptance of the rules and conditions.
