COMEDIAN, actor, writer and TV presenter Lenny Henry brings his Cradle to Rave show to the Alban Arena in St Albans next week.

MUSIC has always been a huge part of comedian Lenny Henry’s life.
It was impersonating the legendary Stevie Wonder that first catapulted him into the entertainment industry in 1975.
He won the New Faces talent show aged 16 and has been a comedian ever since.
Now an accomplished comedian, actor – he has just finished playing Othello in Northern Broadsides’ award-winning Shakespeare production – and Red Nose fundraiser, Lenny still cites music as his first love.
He will explore this passion at the Alban Arena in St Albans on Friday, April 15 in new one-man show Cradle To Rave, which Lenny co-wrote with Jon Carter.
Lenny will take the St Albans audience on a voyage through the decades, exploring the exact role music has played in his career and continues to play.
It is a touching journey but, in true Lenny style, there are plenty of laughs and lots of funky tunes.
The show is a departure from Lenny’s last critically acclaimed performance playing Othello, but tickets are limited.
They cost £23.50 and are available from the box office on 01727 844488 or online via the Arena’s website at www.alban-arena.co.uk
